New KALLISTA DESIGNS EXPAND THE FOUNDATIONS BATH SERIES
KOHLER, Wis. (January 10, 2017) – KALLISTA, a leading designer and provider of kitchen and bath luxury products, expanded its Foundations universal products category with a new bath, four new undermount basins in glazed and unglazed versions, four new sconces, three new mirrors, and new knob and pull cabinet hardware and towel bar and shower door handles. An important building block within the KALLISTA repertoire, the Foundation series provides a wide range of bath fixtures with the flexibility to speak to myriad tastes and budgets.
Affording alternative, attractive products for the home, the innovative Foundations program began in 2008, with products being introduced regularly throughout the years to become a force within the KALLISTA portfolio with its versatile options in bathroom design. This next installation in support of this important category takes the Foundations offering to another level of breath.
The latest bath to join Foundations is the traditionally inspired Classic freestanding bath currently available in KALLISTA Stucco White. The substantial bath has a comfortable ergonomic design with softly rounded corners, tapered sides, 61x34x24 size and slotted overflow for a deeper water level and relaxing soak. The tub’s broad, stepped rim slightly tapers for support and is fitted with the toe touch tub drain and cover allowing for effortless water release. The integrated drain and overflow ensure that the design aesthetics remain pure. The cast stone design is 35 percent more durable than comparable materials with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface that resists stains. The very nature of the cast stone composition keeps warm water at temperature much longer than standard materials and provides a thick gloss finish.
Also making its debut are four new under-mount basin designs with slotted overflow– the 17”x13” Perfect Centric Rectangle and 17”x14” Oval basins and the 17”x13” Perfect Soft Rectangle and 17”x14” Oval basins – all offered in glazed and unglazed versions in KALLISTA Stucco White finish. The Perfect Centric basin floor has a recessed X-shape that allows the water to flow directly to the centering drain while the Perfect Soft basin has a gently sloped floor that allows water to seamlessly flow to the centered drain.
Sconces and Mirrors
Four sconces and three mirrors continue this year’s introductions creating a range of options to fit any interior, sconces are available in Polished Chrome or Nickel Silver KALLISTA living finishes and are compatible with incandescent or LED bulbs:
Modern Sconce: A stylized hourglass design cinched at the waist by a thick metal band and supported by a discreet wall plate. The Modern Sconce comes standard with a blue night light.
Soft Modern: A cylindrical glass shade that rests on a lower metal base that flows down to create its metal wall plate and comes standard with a blue night light.

Rounding out the 2017 Foundation designs are new hardware – a first for KALLISTA – and new shower door handles and towel bars. The transitional knob and pull cabinet pieces can easily move from the bathroom to the kitchen. The two-inch knob has an octagonal shape that fits comfortably in the hand. The understated four-inch pull with soft, rounded corners.
