  4. New Papion Pedestal Lavatory and Freestanding Bath

KOHLER, Wis. – January 19, 2016 – KALLISTA, a leading designer and provider of kitchen and bath luxury products, introduces two new designs – the Papion pedestal lavatory and Papion freestanding bath – as part of its expanding Foundations collection, encompassing universal products designed to complement traditional and contemporary settings.

Providing attractive products for the home, the innovative Foundations collection began in 2008 and has quickly become a favorite among specifiers who are seeking versatile options for the bathroom. The Papion debut represents the next fixtures offering in support of this important plumbing series for KALLISTA.

The aptly named Papion – inspired by a bow tie silhouette – has a tapered design creating a sleek, modern form. The pedestal lavatory and freestanding bath are constructed of cast stone with a glossy finish that offers décor versatility, strength and durability and a low-maintenance surface making clean-up easy.

A flawless combination of functional and aesthetic design, the 35” high Papion pedestal lavatory has a broad rimmed, deep 20” basin (front to back) that follows the pedestal’s graphic design, tapering as it meets the base. It then flares out for an eye-catching silhouette. The Papion pedestal lavatory is currently available in two finishes: KALLISTA White Gloss exterior/interior finish or for a more dramatic statement, KALLISTA Black exterior/White Gloss interior finish.

The Papion freestanding bath is thoughtfully executed for the ultimate bathing experience. The one-piece bath has a broad rim and softly rounded corners, with graceful, taper sides before meeting its flared base. Measuring a generous 64” x 34” in size, the bath is engineered with a center drain to comfortably accommodate one or two bathers. Offered in KALLISTA White Gloss finish, the rectangular form has a 25” depth and slotted overflow for a deeper water level providing a relaxing, full body soak. KALLISTA selected cast stone as the material of choice, known to provide a smooth uniform finish and natural conduit to ensure water temperature retention. The tub also debuts KALLISTA’s latest option, a brass toe tap tub drain with material-matched cover, which comes standard with the Papion. This feature allows for easy water release and provides an appealing visual presentation. To view the entire Papion collection, and other KALLISTA products, visit www.KALLISTA.com.
