KALLISTA COLLABORATES WITH FAMED ARCHITECT ANDRE KIKOSKI TO CREATE THE ONE™ DECORATIVE BATH FAUCET SERIES

KOHLER, Wis. (June 23, 2016) – Kallista, a leading designer and provider of kitchen and bath luxury products, and internationally renowned architect Andre Kikoski are collaborating to elevate the beauty and artistry of the brand’s highly successful One bathroom faucet to an entirely new level of glamour.

First introduced in 2007, the KALLISTA One faucet has been a highly sought item by discerning customers for both kitchen and bath applications. And now, the popular-selling widespread bath faucet boasts a new decorative option with sophisticated marble inserts in choices of Nero Marquina, White Carrara, Ashwood and Grigio Limestone.

The catalyst that brought this new level of customization and creativity in bathroom design to Kallista’s product portfolio is Kikoski’s highly publicized Hudson Yards urban neighborhood project on the west side of Manhattan. The faucet will be installed within the project’s residences. Kikoski has long been lauded for his ability to blur the boundaries between art and architecture and the One Decorative faucet emulates that mix. The One faucet’s architectural simplicity is what originally captivated Kikoski and inspired the new Decorative One’s design. The simplistic design and functional form with its low spout and clean lever handle design, are juxtaposed with beautiful and authentic marble inserts.

The four marbles currently offered:

Nero Marquina: Garnering international appeal with its enigmatic, rich black hue and brilliant white veining, Nero Marquina is sophisticated, modern and chic and embodies a contemporary sensibility of urban luxury.

White Carrara: Long been a stone of choice by artists and architects, White Carrara marble is classic and refined, and has a timeless luxury quality that appeals to a wide range of interiors. The rich creamy color, combined with inky veining emits a lavish, yet approachable feel.

Ashwood: Awash in rich layers of earthy colors that range from beige and cream to toffee and chocolate, Ashwood radiates a quiet sophistication and subtle luxury. Ashwood’s refined yet understated texture pairs with a gentle dark veining to mirror a sense of tranquility and modesty.

Grigio Limestone: Featuring a blend of soft midnight blues with deep grey clouds, Grigio Limestone creates an energetic blend of color and texture that is equally mesmerizing as it is unexpected. The depth and layering of the stone are intensely powerful, lending itself to personalization.

With four marble insert handle options and five standard finishes available, the KALLISTA Decorative One widespread faucet choices are vast, allowing individuals to truly personalize their bathroom space with an artistic touch. The five standard finishes include: Polished Chrome, Nickel Silver, Brushed Nickel, Gunmetal, and Unlacquered Brass. The faucet is also EPA WaterSense listed with a maximum flow rate of 1.5 gpm, making it an ecologically considerate choice.
