KALLISTA TAPER™ BY BIG NOW AVAILABLE IN GUNMETAL FINISH
KOHLER, Wis. – January 19, 2016 – KALLISTA, a leading designer and provider of kitchen and bath luxury products, partnered with Bjarke Ingels, founder and head of the Danish architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), in early 2015 to create Taper by BIG, the widely acclaimed, minimalist designed bathroom faucet collection. KALLISTA now offers the Gunmetal finish on all Taper collection pieces.
Extolling a warmth that doesn’t feel forced and evoking an almost Old World presentation, Gunmetal resonates with a depth of color that complements modern and more traditional environments.
A perfect pairing to the Papion™ pedestal lavatory with a classic mix of black and white, the Taper collection’s signature cone-to-cylinder design represents a paring down of the form to its most elemental components. The faucet has an intentional, forward-leaning profile, and a unique 90-degree bend in the faucets and lever handles. The faucet is designed with a spout tip that is flush with the faucet with the aerator hidden in the base. Taper meets the flow, force and coverage mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency to be WaterSense® listed with a 1.5 gpm laminar flow aerator.
The Gunmetal finish joins three other standard KALLISTA Taper finishes: Chrome, Nickel Silver and Brushed Nickel, as well as several other special order finishes. To view the entire Taper collection, and other KALLISTA products, visit www.KALLISTA.com.
