Southern Sophistication with French Influence
Caitlin Covington, lifestyle creator behind Southern Curls & Pearls, dreamed of a home that felt like a French countryside escape in Winston-Salem. Collaborating with midwest designer Kate Marker, she combined European architectural details with airy interiors, muted neutrals, and soft blush and French blue accents. The home is elevated, effortless, and perfectly livable.
The Heart of the Bathroom
The master shower is a study in light and air, framed by beautifully crafted millwork that feels soft and refined. Central Park West Collection in unlacquered brass brings architectural presence, adding warmth and cohesion to the space. For Caitlin and her husband Chris, unlacquered brass was never a question—a timeless finish that feels modern, polished, and effortlessly personal.
"Brassware is one of those details that quietly ties everything together. It is integrated into nearly every room and has a big impact on how the home feels as a whole. In this project, it works almost like jewelry. It was integral in adding warmth and interest to each space."

Jewelry For The Bath
In this intimate powder room, Central Park West Wall-Mount Faucet in brass anchors a moody, deeply European design. Paired with a scalloped marble sink and golden accents, the fixtures add warmth and refinement, acting as details that quietly elevate the entire home.

Where Materials Speak for Themselves
Materiality was at the heart of this project. Warm wood, plaster, unlacquered brass, and soft textiles combine to create a home that feels thoughtfully collected and lived-in. Reclaimed elements infuse the spaces with character and history. Every detail contributes to a home that is elevated, cohesive, and undeniably warm.
