February 2014

KOHLER, Wis. (February 4, 2014) – Kallista, a leading designer and supplier of luxury kitchen and bath plumbing products, introduces the Per Se collection. The modern forms are sleek and sensuous employing minimalist detail and chic couture-inspired styling. Paying homage to 1950s and 1960s design that moved away from the complex fluting or layered details of earlier periods, Per Se, with its squared, geometric form, softened by the gentle rounding of corners, brings to the Kallista portfolio an attractive alternative of fashionable understatement at an affordable luxury price point.

Beginning as a sketch, and proving to be a challenging engineering feat, the in-house designed Per Se features an ultra thin, appealing rectangular shape that does not compromise quality by retaining standard wall thickness and incorporating an almost imperceptible valve to reduce the overall mass as much as possible. The basin faucet set offers soft, quiet water delivery without splashing. It is also an environmentally sound choice for the home, meeting the flow, force and coverage EPA WaterSense® listed criteria with a 1.5 gpm laminar flow aerator instead of the higher industry standard 2.2 aerator.

Kallista utilizes the finest valves in all its faucets to ensure years of maintenance-free use. Featuring quarter-turn, diamond-hard washerless ceramic disc valves instead of conventional seat washers assure that the installation will be leak-free even in the hardest water conditions. Per Se is available in Polished Chrome, Nickel Silver, and Brushed Nickel Kallista living finishes, which naturally patina adding unique warmth and character to the forms over time. Rounding out the collection is thermostatic valve trim, 3-way transfer valve trim, volume control valve trim, foundational soft modern wand-dual function handshower, 12-inch, 18-inch and 24-inch towel bars, hook, and toilet paper holder.

Kallista is known for its designs of decorative plumbing products, offering faucets and fixtures thoughtfully created for tasteful kitchen, and whole-bath solutions.
