KALLISTA® BUILDS UPON ITS HIGH-EFFICIENCY TOILET OFFERING WITH TWO NEW DESIGNS – THE TRADITIONAL KENNEBEC AND A CHIC TOILET DESIGN BY RENOWNED DESIGNER BARBARA BARRY
Kallista, a leading provider of decorative plumbing products, unveiled two new high-efficiency toilets at the 2011 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas. The traditional Kennebec and a transitional toilet designed by Barbara Barry expand Kallista’s foundational product category designed to complement traditional and contemporary settings.
These latest designs also represent Kallista’s continuing commitment to water conservation. High-efficiency toilets utilize less water during each flush without compromising on performance. These toilets deliver an extraordinary combination of water conservation, flushing performance and beautiful design with a savings of up to 3,200 gallons over water per year over the industry standard 1.6 gpf models.
The transitional toilet by internationally renowned designer, Barbara Barry creates a sophisticated silhouette within a room. The toilet pairs a squared tank with a side-mounted oval solid brass trip lever in fun juxtaposition and is detailed with Barry’s signature X pattern. In contrast, the new Kennebec two-piece toilet is inspired by traditional styling with a curved tank fitted with a side-mounted solid brass trip lever.
Both were designed to coordinate with a variety of Kallista suites and boast best-in-class flushing technology. Ergonomically designed at the Kohler Comfort Height rim standard of 16-1/8 inches, the toilets are ADA compliant and EPA WaterSense listed. The designs’ elongated, elliptical-shaped bowls can be paired with the Kallista classic or contemporary slow close hinge technology seats and a single flush option of 1.28 gpf.
