KALLISTA® UNVEILS ITS FIRST EVER CAST IRON KITCHEN SINK AT THE 2010 KITCHEN AND BATH INDUSTRY SHOW
To build upon its growing kitchen category, Kallista, a leading provider of luxury plumbing products, presented its new cast iron kitchen sink at the 2010 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Chicago. The dual-basin sink brings the first cast iron kitchen sink into Kallista’s design portfolio fusing understated elegance of form with unprecedented basin space and depth for a sink that is both sophisticated and practical.
The shaped basins allow for a single-hole kitchen faucet with additional drillings to accommodate a soap lotion dispenser and side spray. The unique single-hole drilling allows the space reserved for the faucet deck to be reclaimed by the basins creating a roomy space. The 33-inch length and substantial nine-inch depth easily accommodates even large cookware. Made from 93 percent recycled or reclaimed materials, the sink is composed entirely of formidable cast iron and finished in an ultra-thick layer of glossy enamel to ensure it retains its beauty even through the most rigorous use for years to come. Easy to clean, the sink is guaranteed not to chip, crack or burn.
The Kallista sink is designed for undercounter installation, which beautifully blends into surrounding countertops for a seamless appearance and allows for easy cleaning, and comes complete with two durable stainless steel bottom-basin racks fitted with unique hand pulls for easy removal. The cast iron sink is offered in Kallista exclusive Stucco White, Linen and Black finishes.
