NEW KALLISTA JANEWAY™ CONSOLE TABLE IS THE EPITOME OF TRADITIONAL DESIGN FOR SMALL AND MID-SIZED BATHROOMS
KOHLER, Wis. (May 7, 2007) - Finding the perfect design for a small or mid-sized bathroom is a challenge many design professionals and homeowners have encountered. Offering a key element for an elegant solution to this problem, Kallista, a leading provider of luxury plumbing products, introduces the Janeway, a small to mid-sized console table, at the 2007 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas. Originally designed for the world-famous Plaza Hotel in New York, the Janeway console table is a reflection upon traditional North American plumbing products reminiscent of the early 20th century. A signature design detail is the pair of classically styled vitreous legs, whose first appearance in plumbing products can be traced back over 100 years.
With its petite dimensions of 26 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 33 7/8 inches high, the Janeway console table is well suited for a powder room or small bathroom. "The Janeway is an ideal basin for a small bath space, which is common in a lot of older homes in urban environments in particular," remarks John Hart, chief merchandising officer - ANN SACKS & Kallista. "But it also accommodates the trend toward more diminutive but high-quality and space-efficient floor plans that can be observed in today's architect and design community."
The Janeway console's integrated backsplash at the back of the countertop surface prevents water from escaping the back of the basin. Its Stucco White color and pleasing elegant design make it a welcome partner for a wide range of colors and materials from marble to ceramic and even wood. Most traditional widespread faucets like Kallista's Hampstead lavatory faucet can be beautifully paired with the Janeway to complete its look.
Kallista is known for its design of luxury plumbing products, offering faucets and fixtures thoughtfully created for tasteful, whole-bath solutions.
