KALLISTA PARTNERS WITH WORLD-RENOWNED DESIGN FIRMS TO EXPAND DECORATIVE LINE: MOTTAHEDEH, BACCARAT AND TRACY PORTER
Kallista, a leader in luxury and decorative plumbing products, expands its Decorative Kallista line with new offerings from design leaders Mottahedeh, Baccarat and Tracy Porter. By forging exclusive partnerships with such prestigious companies and widely acclaimed artists, Kallista has taken a leadership role in creating collections never before imagined in the luxury plumbing market.
Kallista expands its collection of bath products inspired by classic designs from Mottahedeh & Company, the revered china and dinnerware manufacturer. Unveiled in 1997, Kallista's offering currently includes two celebrated Mottadeheh patterns -- Tobacco Leaf and Blue Dynasty. Designed to complement Mottahedeh's famed Williamsburg Brighton Pavilion Birds pattern is Kallista's new Water Birds design.
The oval, undercounter basin features a classic aviary pattern awash in rich shades of brown, gray and green, all set in a pale yellow field. For the first time, Kallista also has created a tile mural depicting the same bird and botanical scene. The 48-inch by 33-inch mural is comprised of large, square tiles framed in a deep green, glazed rope trim. Both the basin and hand-painted tiles have a sophisticated, antique finish to create a look and texture reminiscent of 18th- and 19th-century porcelain produced for nobility.Kallista also expands its collection of faucetry by Baccarat, one of the world's finest crystal manufacturers. The new Baccarat Bambous Crystal Wall Set for Kallista features Baccarat's oldest and most popular design -- a rolling, undulating pattern that allows the crystal to gather and reflect light. This signature design is paired with traditional cross handles and a graceful, sloping faucet spout. The new wall and deck mount fixtures allow the elegance of the existing basin set to be carried over to the bathing area.
The new Baccarat designs again will be available in three brilliant crystal colors -- Clear, Red and Cobalt Blue -- and four finish options -- Sterling Silver, Nickel Silver, Brushed Nickel and Gold.
Finally, Kallista expands its Tracy Porter collection. The noted Wisconsin artist created a whimsical yet sophisticated array of fanciful, hand-painted designs for Kallista last spring.
The French Country designs, distinct for their fanciful use of color and exquisite detailing, included several lavatories, antique-style vanities and a magnificent, hand-painted, claw-foot tub. The addition includes a new color treatment for the artist's Lucy's Garden pattern. The new basin features the familiar collage of brightly colored berries, cherries, tiger lilies and leaves now set against a striking black field. The design is available as a self-rimming or undercounter basin.
